The invention relates to a device with an electromagnetic actuator for actuating a control unit that can be displaced in a longitudinal direction. The inventive device comprises at least one electromagnet which directly or indirectly acts upon the control unit. The position of the control unit can be measured by means of a first separate measuring coil of an inductive displacement sensor. According to the invention, at least a second separate measuring coil is arranged in the area of the first separate measuring coil. Disturbances can be compensated for by means of said second measuring coil using a corresponding evaluation circuit.
