The invention concerns a device comprising an anchoring block (12) provided with means binding the strands forming the cable (10), and a clevis (13) articulated on the structural element and having in the direction of the cable a head (14) run through by an orifice wherein the cable is engaged, the clevis being so designed as to maintain the anchoring block when traction is exerted on the cable. The anchoring block is at least partly engaged in the orifice (15) passing through the clevis head, which orifice has a tapping receiving a matching thread (21, 37) formed on the periphery of the anchoring block (12) and/or on a stop element (27) to retain the anchoring block.
