Device for registering flowing solid particles comprises a sensor (1) arranged in a gas stream and connected to an electronic evaluation unit (4). A collision surface (6) is arranged on the tip of the sensor for the solid particles. The collision surface is the front side on one end of a mechanical wire-like waveguide (2). The opposite side of the waveguide is connected to an electromechanical converter (3). The converter is encased with a protective tube (9) near to the collision surface. Preferred Features: The sensor is arranged in a tubular segment, to which a nozzle (17) is connected for accelerating the solid particles with the gas stream. The converter is a piezoelectric converter.
