The distance ring (7) has a solenoid located around the shaft, with coil (4) and coil body (6). The ring is positioned esp. concentric about the rotary axis of the shaft, and the coil body supports itself via the ring on the brake bearing shield or the counter brake surface. Fastening nuts (10) lock the ring to set screws, or turn it if the screws are loosened. The distance ring has sections of different height. Coil body and/or brake bearing shield or counter brake surface have cams (11) to engage with the ring on one point for its support, so that by turning sections of different height become effective.
