摘要 Device for automated chemical, biological, biochemical or clinical analysis and/or synthesis comprising a microtiter plate with an array of wells for receiving chemically inert microreaction vessels so that the reaction vessels cannot be displaced and the tops of the vessels extend vertically above the surface of the plate, is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) producing the novel device, by inserting microreaction vessels, having an outside diameter corresponding to the diameter of the wells, into the wells at elevated temperature and cooling the plate to shrink-fit the vessels in the wells; (2) producing the novel device, by inserting microreaction vessels into the wells of a thermoplastic microtiter plate, and welding the vessels into the plate by plasticizing the thermoplastic in the region of the wells; (3) producing the novel device, by inserting microreaction vessels into a mold, and forming the microtiter plate around the vessels by injection molding from the side opposite the open ends of the vessels; and (4) producing the novel device, by gluing microreaction vessels into the wells.
