<p>A coryneform bacterium having a potentiated phosphoenolpyruvate synthase activity in the cell and being capable of producing an L-amino acid; and a process for producing the L-amino acid characterized by comprising culturing this coryneform bacterium in a medium, thus forming and accumulating the L-amino acid in the medium, and then collecting the L-amino acid from the culture medium.</p> |
