The fuel tank has a means of altering the volume of the fuel cavity, depending on the internal pressure in the cavity. The cavity may be in the form of a cylindrical or prismatic hollow body, in which a movable partition (6) can be moved along the internal wall (9) by means of a spring (7). The partition is sealed.
