The invention relates to an anti-locking braking system which is especially embodied for traction control systems and for controlling the dynamics of a vehicle movement. A pump (42) for actuating a wheel brake (37) extracts brake fluid from a brake pressure transmitter (31) and supplies said brake fluid to the wheel brake (37). A valve arrangement (1) is arranged between the brake pressure transmitter (31) and an inlet (42e) of the pump (42). Said valve arrangement (1) is designed as a 2-connecting/3-position valve which locks the connection between the brake pressure transmitter (31) and the inlet (42e) of the pump (42) in an inoperative (base) position (1.1). In a first operative position (1.2), said valve creates a secondary flow connection (B) between the brake pressure transmitter (31) and the inlet (42e) of the pump (42). In a second operative position (1.3), said valve creates a primary flow connection (A) between the brake pressure transmitter (31) and the inlet (42e) of the pump (42). The primary flow connection (A) is provided with a greater flow cross-section than the secondary flow connection (B).
