A multi-function drill bit assembly with slideably positionable hole saw (10) comprising an elongate bit member (73), a reversible arbor member (41), and a hole saw member (50). The elongate drill bit member (73) has a drilling portion (71) and an attachment portion (30), with the drilling portion having a sharp cutting tip (31) and the attachment portion (30) having at least one flat surface running longitudinally across. The reversible arbor member (41) has a cylindrical cavity (44) extending axially therethrough with the attachment portion (30) of the drill bit member (73) being slideably disposed in the cylindrical cavity (44). The arbor member (41) has a first portion (46) and a cylindrical skirt portion (47), the cylindrical skirt portion (47) extending outwardly from the first portion (46) and being generally concentric with the cylindrical cavity (44). |
