SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing fixed relative to tube and having chain arranged with possibility of embracing tube, carriage mounted on housing with possibility of moving on guide placed along arc of housing circumference. Abrasive-jet heads with device for supplying high-pressure liquid and support rollers arranged at both sides of each abrasive-jet head are mounted on carriage with possibility of radial motion. Changeable insert is placed between tube and housing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of apparatus due to reduced time period for preparing damaged portion of pipeline for repairing it as there is no need for accurately cleaning pipeline surface and completely removing transported fluid due to use of high-pressure liquid jet with abrasive for cutting tube, possibility of cutting different-size tubes due to using changeable insert. 4 dwg
