SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of subjecting rolled metallic sheet to axially symmetrical cold deformation until achieving relative deformation value along any axis no more than 70%; blanking from metallic sheet washer restricted by coaxial circles; deforming said washer for making spheric portions for rolling bodies and flat portions arranged between spheric ones for punching holes for rivets; using as metallic sheet inner circle received at blanking retainers of large-size bearings; making one flat portion of retainer half on washer portion passing through radius being tangentially inclined by 45 degrees relative to texture of deformation caused by rolling process.
