The installation includes a number of sensors (14), an electronic management system (18) designed to process the data from the sensors and connection means between the sensors and the management unit. The connection means comprises a flexible insulating ribbon (12) fitted with conducting tracks (18) used to support the sensors. The conducting tracks include, see Fig 2: - a network of tracks forming a line bus (34,40) which follow the ribbon over its length and finish at an electronic unit and; - a number of network tracks (38,44,48,52) individually connecting each sensor to the line bus. The sensors are fitted with contacts (24,26a,26b) and the conducting tracks are connected to the contacts by conducting wires (42,45,50). |
