PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of treating and/or recovering easily a collected material while a floating fine particle can be collected and removed from gas such as air at a high dust collection efficiency. SOLUTION: A dust collector 10 removes a floating dust particle from gas to be treated by introducing gas to be treated containing the floating dust particle. An ice layer part 14 provided by containing ice B is installed in the dust collector 10. The ice layer part 14 is constituted so that the gas to be treated can pass through the ice layer part 14 while the gas comes in contact with the ice B forming the ice layer part 14.
