PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the clogging of a coating nozzle and clogging preventive method by which remaining paint inside a nozzle and in the head part thereof causing clogging is surely removed to always and stably perform prescribed coating. SOLUTION: A coating device body A is fitted with a vibration exciter 12 for vibrating the whole coating device A, or an ultrasonic vibrating element for locally vibrating the nozzle is provided, and a needle valve 8 for adjusting the opening degree of a path interposed in the intermediate part of paint feeding paths 2b, 5 to a paint jetting nozzle 1 is fully opened to make vibration occur with the paint being discharged from the nozzle 1.
