PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a vacuum cleaner only by buying an inexpensive body holding cover adapted to a new vacuum cleaner body without buying any expensive storage box when a new vacuum cleaner body different in shape from a previous one is purchased, and to achieve the cleaning even in a condition where the vacuum cleaner body is placed on the body holding cover fitted to the storage box. SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a vacuum cleaner body 21, a storage case 22 whose upper side is opened to store a part of the vacuum cleaner body 21 and its accessories, and a frame-like body holding cover 23 which is fitted to a peripheral edge of an upper side open portion of the storage case 22 and has a support part 31 to support the vacuum cleaner body 21.
