PRIMER COMPOSITION FOR POLYPROPYLENE COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a primer composition not lowering a finish appearance even if a top coating material is subjected to electrostatic coating on the surface of uncured coating film without heating and curing the applied coating film. SOLUTION: This primer composition for polypropylene coating comprises (A) a chlorinated polypropylene, (B) a polyester resin containing >=60 wt.% of the total of a polybasic acid such as adipic acid and a polyhydric alcohol such as ethylene glycol as monomer components, (C) a polyester resin containing >=60 wt.% of the total of a polybasic acid such as orthophthalic acid and a polyhydric alcohol such as propylene glycol as monomer components, (D) an epoxy resin, (E) a polyether resin and (F) a granular electroconductive substance in which the total solid content of the component B and the component C is 20-60 wt.% the total solid content of the component A to the component E and the solid content ratio of the component B to the component C is 1:0.5-1:2.0 by weight.
