PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily find the displayed stitching data, a pattern for each color corresponding to the control code, and a color of the pattern, and to prevent the mistake in stitching data to be editted in a process for editting the control code for indicating the sewing motion, and the stitching data by displaying the embroidery data onto a color display. SOLUTION: When the embroidery data edition control is executed, and the embroidery data of selected embroidery pattern is displayed on a stitching data display area DA of a color display 3, the control code indicating the stitching motion such as sequential numbers '00001', '00002' and so on, 'change of color' and the like, and the stitching data are displayed with red and blue colors same as the colors of patterns by each color corresponding to the control code and the stitching data, so that the pattern by each color and a color of the pattern can be easily found, and the mistake in stitching data for editting process through this color display can be surely prevented.
