PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency treating utensil wherein a degree for a close joining of an electrode on the returning side to a biomedical tissue is increased, and a high frequency current is surely made to flow restrictively to an aimed operative area only to perform an adequate treatment, and the treating capability is improved. SOLUTION: This high frequency treating utensil 1 is provided with a flexible tube 2 which is inserted in a body cavity is provided, a first electrode for a high frequency treatment and a balloon 17 located at least at one of the distal side and the base end side from the first electrode 15 arranged on the flexible tube 2, and a second electrode 18 disposed on the surface of the balloon 17. A degree by which the second electrode 18 on the returning side closely joints to a biomedical tissue is increased, and a high frequency current is restrictively made to flow to an aimed operative area only. |
