摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the surface of a composite material clean even when excitation light illuminance is low and the load of deposited soiling is large by exciting the photocatalyst by light to make the layer surface hydrophilic and cleaning the layer surface with acidic water in the case of cleaning the composite material provided with a photocatalytic hydrophilic film on a member or the surface of an article. SOLUTION: The surface layer containing photocatalytic particles is formed on the composite material of a member for bath room such as a wall material for bath room, a floor material for bath room, a mirror for bath room or the like, a member for kitchen, a member for toilet or the like and the photocatalyst on the surface of the composite material treated in this way is excited by light to make the layer surface hydrophilic and the layer surface is cleaned with the acidic water. As a result, the hydrophilicity imparting speed by the light excitation of the photocatalyst is increased and the soiling in the bath room member, where the excitation light illuminance is low and the load of the soiling is large, is sufficiently removed. Even in the case of sticking the soiling in a certain degree on the surface of the composite material having a rugged structure, the soiling embedded in the pores of the surface of the composite material is eluted by the acid cleaning and the surface of the member is cleaned.
