PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool to screw a male screw, such as a hexagonal bolt and a hexagon socket head cap screw in a female screw member by a given amount. SOLUTION: A fastening tool 31 comprises a rotary member 32 provided at a base end part with a handle 33 and at a tip part with a wrench part 34 fitted in the head part of a male screw member; a support member 35 rotatably supporting the intermediate part of the rotary member 32; and a fastening amount specifying member 36 removably mounted on the support member 35 in a manner to protrude its tip from the tip of the wrench part 34. When fastening is progressed, the tip of a fastening amount specifying member 36 is brought into contact with the female member. At a point of time when fastening is completed, the tip of the wrench part 34 is dislocated from the head part of the male screw member and further fastening is impracticable.
