PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for supporting seating for an aged person by which the aged person with weakened legs and the waist can safely and readily sit on the chair and rise from the chair. SOLUTION: Hollow shafts 2 and sliding shafts 3 are arranged on a base 12 and a pedestal 1 is fitted on the top part and a stopper and a control tool 5, a spring control tool 5 and a rubber spring 9 are fitted on the bottom part and a bellows 6 fitted with a hose 7 and a cock 8 is mounted between the pedestal 1 and the base 12. It is possible thereby for the aged person with weakened legs and the waist to safely and readily sit on the chair and rise from the chair as a number of control functions meeting with the body are provided.
