PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent oil blow-off from an air vent plug caused by erroneous assembly. SOLUTION: In a speed reduction gear, lubricating oil is filled in a casing 11 housing a gear 10, an inspection cover 13 for blocking an inspection window 12 is fixed to the inspection window opened on the upper wall of the casing through a seat packing 14, and an air vent plug 15 having an air vent hole 16 for communicating the inside and the outside of the casing is attached to the inspection cover. A shielding part 14b for covering the opening on the casing inside of the air vent hole is integrally formed on the seat packing 14, viewed from the vertical lower part, and opening parts 14c for dropping oil on the upper surface of the shielding part are formed on both sides of the shielding part 14b.
