PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for crushing/drying/selecting general refuse which can remarkably reduce costs for producing solid fuel from the refuse by conducting crushing/drying/selection processes by one apparatus. SOLUTION: In an approximately hanging bell-shaped body 1 in which a general refuse charge line 2, a lightweight refuse discharge line 3, a heavyweight refuse discharge line 4, and a hot air line 7 are connected to each other, a crushing mechanism 5 for crushing the charged general refuse and a rotary table 6 for selecting the general refuse crushed by the mechanism 5 are provided. Since crushing/drying/selection processes can be carried out continuously in parallel in the body 1, costs for operation, apparatuses, and the like, required for the production of solid fuel can be reduced remarkably.
