PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve capable of enhancing a recycle ratio. SOLUTION: An element part 7 having a diaphragm 13 is thread-bonded to an upper portion of a valve block 6 through a packing 16. Each part constituting the element part 7 is formed using the same metal material (for example, stainless steel). A heat transfer part 8 has a heat sensitive part 8A and a stopper part 8B and the stopper part 8B is integrally provided on an upper portion of the heat sensitive part 8A and is assembled in the element part 7. The stopper portion 8B receives an urging force from below and is closely adhered to lower surface of the diaphragm 13. An outer periphery portion of the stopper portion 8B is enlarged in an umbrella shape and is extended to a position opposed to the receiving portion 14. When the diaphragm 13 is downwardly displaced, the maximum displacement quantity toward below of the diaphragm 13 is restricted by abutting the outer periphery portion to the receiving portion 14. The heat transfer part 8 (heat transfer 8A and stopper 8B) is formed using the same metal material as each part constituting the element part 7.
