PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the deviation of actual weighed value to a target value and to improve the yield, particularly in a transient operation mode. SOLUTION: In a control method for cutting off a cast slab continuously drawn out in the continuous casting equipment, the actual data in each kind of casting condition in the transient operation mode, are stored in the actual result table 321. In the transient operation mode, the data having the same casting condition are serched from the actual result table and the cutting-off control of the cast slab (a special unit wt. feedback control) is executed by using the serched actual result data. On the other hand, in the stationary operation mode, only the actual result data at this time are used to execute the cutting-off control (ordinary unit wt. feedback control) of the cast slab.
