PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely spread an air bag upward in an abnormal approach state by guiding an air bag upward by a cloven cover with swelling spread of the air bag in the state where the inside space of a rim is blocked from the occupant side. SOLUTION: As the inside space 3a of a rim 3 is blocked by the body of an occupant M, an air bag 6 can not be spread straight from the inside space 3a. When the air bag 6 is spread upward, since an upper end hinge of a first cover part 15 is positioned in front of the top of an inflator 7, the upper end hinge part is not an obstacle to the upward spread air bag 6, so upward spread of the air bag 6 can be secured. Furthermore, since the first cover part 15 is formed by an upper part and a surface part to have a large size, the air bag 6 can be surely guided upward by opening the large first cover part 15 upward. |
