PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form individual products by longitudinally and latitudinally cutting a laminar or rectangular cake by one operation. SOLUTION: This cutter for cake comprises a cake placing stand 3 which is provided with channels 4 longitudinally and latitudinally intersecting at right angles on the top in a recessed way and on which a cake W is placed and a lifting and lowering frame 8 equipped with thin lines 9 which intersect at right angles both in length and width and are inserted into opposing channels by drop. When the lifting and lowering frame is dropped, the cake is cut longitudinally and latitudinally by the thin lines and made into individual products by one operation. Consequently this method is more efficient than a conventional method in which the cake is firstly cut into a strip shape, then a placing stand is changed by 90 deg. and the cake of strip shape is recut.
