PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an eddy magnetic field caused by eddy current generated in switching the inclined magnetic field in a magnetic resonance imaging device in a short time with excellent accuracy even when the eddy magnetic field has a time constant over the extensive range of the time constant from several ms to several seconds. SOLUTION: The static magnetic field is applied to an NMR sample arranged at a place of measurement, the pulse-like inclined magnetic field pre-pulse is applied once, and then, a sample is excited a plurality of times, the signal by each excitation is recovered without applying the inclined magnetic field to obtain the time constant and the strength of the eddy magnetic field.
