PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary set jig for a building unit and a usage of the temporary set jig for temporarily setting the building unit on a footing even in raining, improving the operability of a vehicle, easily detaching a waterproof sheet covered on the building unit, and enhancing the working efficiency. SOLUTION: This temporary set jig 1 for temporarily setting a building unit 12 on a footing 11 is provided with a first engagement part 3 engaged with a first joint 21 of the footing 11, and a second engagement part 4 engaged with a second joint 5 of the building unit 12, and the first and the second engagement parts 3, 4 are arranged in different positions in the plain view. The building unit 12 is thus offset and a clearance is formed towards an adjoining building unit 12 so that a building unit 12 covered with a waterproof sheet can be temporarily set in raining and the operation efficiency of the vehicle can be enhanced.
