PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance braking heat radiating performance of a friction pad, to improve force of rigidity of a back board, and to enhance sticking strength of the back board to a lining. SOLUTION: A back board 11 is formed into a two-plate structure that a material metal tube 20 cut into a desired dimension is crushed, and a hanging piece 11c is integrally formed from the material metal tube 20. One plate part 11a of the back board 11 is formed into a wavelike form, and the other plate part 11b thereof is formed into a flat plate shape. Both the plate parts 11a, 11b are mutually overlapped, and a plurality of ventilating holes 21 is formed between both the plate parts 11a, 11b. A lining is stuck to the peripheral surface of the one plate part 11a.
