PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a toilet seat clean, and allow a user to use it with ease by providing the toilet seat in the housing part of a at least sterilizing or disinfecting device in a housing type toilet stool for freely taking in and out to house the toilet bowl provided with the toilet seat in the housing part of a stool housing device. SOLUTION: A housing type toilet stool 10 is provided with a toilet bowl 11, a toilet seat 12, a stool housing device 13 for housing the bowl 11 or the like, the bowl 11 rotatably vertically supports the rear end by a rotating shaft 15, and housed in a state where it is substantially erected in the inside of the housing part 16 of the stool housing device 13 during housing. The washing device 30 of the seat 12, a sterilizing device 31, a disinfecting device 32, a dryer 33, a controller controlling them or the like are assembled in the housing part 20 of the rearward side of the stool housing device 13 installed along the wall face 19 of a toilet. The sterilizing device 31 installed on the upper part of the neighborhood of the boundary part of the housing parts 16 and 20 sterilizes to irradiate an ultraviolet ray onto the surface of the seat 12 from a sterilizing lamp, and the disinfecting device 32 sprays alcohol toward the surface of the seat 12 from a spray nozzle 37.
