PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective preventive construction method for a manhole capable of preventing generation of collisional sound with a cover receiver member and an adjustment block by preventing defection of a part of the adjustment block by a load working from a road surface. SOLUTION: This defective preventive construction method for a manhole is furnished with adjustment blocks 4, 5 to carry out positional adjustment of a manhole cover 6 and a road surface by placing a cover receiver frame 7 to support the manhole cover 6 to be applied on the manhole 1 formed on the road on upper surface. Thereby, a band member 10 to face against inner peripheral surfaces of the adjustment blocks 4, 5 is arranged, and resin made putty 12 is filled between an outer surface of the band member 10 and inner peripheral surfaces of the adjustment blocks 2, 4, 5.
