PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability of a heater unit for use in a single crystal production device, e.g. when the heater unit is conveyed, by using a handling jig for the heater unit. SOLUTION: The handling jig consists of: a sidewall section formed so as to have an inverted U-shaped cross-section that is downwardly opened, in order to fit the upper end section of a heater unit 1 to the inside of the sidewall section; and plural through-holes 12 formed in the sidewall section so as to be opened in the horizontal direction and to be arranged in the circumferential direction. For example, when the heater unit 1 is conveyed by the handling jig, the operation of the handling jig comprises: fitting the upper end section of the heater unit 1 to the inside of the sidewall section of the handling jig while suspending and lowering the handling jig with a crane; then aligning the through-holes 12 and slits formed in the heater unit 1; and thereafter passing a locking in 20 through the through-holes 12 and the slits and bending the front end of the locking pin 20, to lock the slits with the locking pin 20 and to enable hoisting of the heating unit 1.
