PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer torsion coil springs, having both ends projected in an aligned state. SOLUTION: A rod-type transfer guide body 3, having torsion coil springs 1 movably fitted therearound, is clamped by a plurality of respective clamp devices 4, 5, 6, 7. While the transfer guide body 3 is held in a clamped state by either of the clamp devices 4-7 at all times, the clamp devices 4-7 are released one by one or a plurality of them at a time, so that the torsion coil spring 1 can be transferred.
