PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually separate an assist hydraulic pressure generation means and a master cylinder to improve degree of freedom in arrangement without complicating a master cylinder structure, in a booster hydraulic pressure generator comprising both the master cylinder receiving an operation force of an operation member, and the assist hydraulic pressure generation means generating an assist hydraulic pressure according to the operation force and booster- operating the master cylinder by the assist hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: In this device, an operation input piston 68 and an output piston 70 are slidably fitted in a cylinder body 65 of a master cylinder 2 such that a pilot hydraulic chamber 71 is formed between the pistons 68, 70. An assist hydraulic pressure generation means for outputting an assist hydraulic pressure boosted in proportion to a hydraulic pressure in the pilot hydraulic chamber 71 is connected to an assist hydraulic chamber 72 faced by a shoulder part 70c of the output piston 70, while an output hydraulic chamber 75 formed in the cylinder body 65 such that the front end of the output piston 70 faces the output hydraulic chamber 75 is connected to a hydraulic operation means. |
