PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent appearance quality level and high commodity marketability by vacuum evacuating a skin material of a resin sheet-like state held between molds to dispose the material along a surface of one cavity, filling a foamed resin material, thermally foam molding the material, and molding a design on a surface of the mold exposed with the material on a non-coating surface of the material. SOLUTION: A skin material 6 obtained by laminating a sheet-like vinyl chloride resin material 6b on a sheet-like acrylic resin material 6a is sandwiched between mating surfaces 10 and 13b of a fixed mold 10 and a movable mold 13 so that the material 6a is directed toward the mold 13. A vapor is supplied from a vent hole 12 of the mold 1 and a slit 15 of the mold 13 to heat the material 6. A cavity 11 is sucked by a vacuum pressure from the hole 12, the material of an inner surface shape of the mold 10 is premolded, then beads are filled into the material cavity, and thermally molded by the vapor from a vapor passage 14. The foamed beads and the material 6a are fusion bonded, and a slit mark or the like is formed on a molding surface exposed with the resin of a noncoating surface of the material 6. Thus, commodity marketability can be enhanced with an excellent appearance quality level. |
