PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and man-hours required for the connection between film and sash, and for extension of the service life of the film by permitting the free selection of each working procedure in the process of attaching window pane to sash and in the process of attaching the sash to the exterior wall of a building. SOLUTION: This glass window comprises window pane 2, a sash 3 for attaching window pane 2 to the exterior wall 1, and a sealing material 4 to be interposed between the edge portion of a window pane 2 and a sash 3, a film 5 is adhered up to the edge portion of the widow pane 2 at least on one surface of the front and rear surfaces of the window pane 2, on the surface of the film side of the window pane 2, a sealing material 4 is applied to the surface of the film 5 at the edge portion of the window pane 2, and the film 5 is caught between the sealing material 4 and the window pane 2. And at least a part of the film 5 is extended from the edge portion of the window pane 2 and is placed closely, contacted or coupled to the sash inside the sash 3.
