PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition formulated with an enzyme, excellent in detergency against combined pollution containing protein. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises (I) a protease meeting the following conditions (a), (b) and (c), and (II) a serine protease having 20,000-40,000 molecular weight: (a) the protease I can act in the range of pH 4-13 and shows >=80% activity value at pH 6-12 based on the optimum pH activity value; (b) the protease I is stable at pH 6-11 under the treatment condition of 40 deg.C×30 min; (c) the casein decomposition activity of the protease I is not inhibited by oleic acid.
