PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recognize a cleaning operation to prevent a wrong operation by reducing at least the drive of an electric blower when the change quantity of distortion of an extension pipe is smaller than a prescribed change value. SOLUTION: A resistor 33 constituting a distortion detecting means 37 is provided on an extension pipe for connecting a brush body travelable on a floor to a hose connected to a case body containing an electric blower 17, and a control means 35 judges the interruption or stop of cleaning by recognizing that the change quantity of distortion of the extension pipe detected by the distortion detecting means 37 is smaller than a prescribed change quantity, and reduces, for example, stops the drive of the electric blower 17. Accordingly, the cleaning operation can be surely recognized by providing the resistor 33 constituting the distortion detecting means 37 for detecting the distortion of the extension pipe which is apt to be distorted, such as the deflection by the cleaning operation in the cleaning form with the brush body, and the drive of the electric blower 17 can be controlled without malfunction according to the cleaning operation.
