PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a threshing part capable of surely closing a gap between the lower edge of an upper cover unit and the upper edge of a lower cover unit kept in a closing posture by closing and shaking operations of the lower cover unit. SOLUTION: This structure for a threshing part is obtained by composing a lower cover unit 23 of a cover 21 for covering a transmission mechanism 20 so as to freely change the posture from a closing posture to an opening posture for tilting the lower cover unit 23 toward the transverse outward side. The top side of the lower cover unit 23 is equipped with a plate 30 capable of freely changing over the posture from a retreating posture for enabling the plate 30 to thrust into the side of a transverse sidewall part 10 by closing and shaking of the lower cover unit 23 to a protruding posture for protruding the plate 30 upward from the lower edge of the upper cover unit 22 and the plate 30 is elastically urged to the retreating posture. Furthermore, the structure is provided with a posture changing means 31 for making the tip side of the plate 30 enter the inner surface side of the upper cover unit 22 in the closing posture of the lower cover unit 23 while changing the posture of the plate 30 into the protruding posture according to the closing and shaking of the lower cover unit 23.
