PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a fibrous structure which is capable of controlling a porosity, etc., as desired and is capable of producing intricately shaped articles without damaging fibrous material and material constituting a matrix and without the occurrence of a shape deformation. SOLUTION: The fibrous structure is molded to a molding by a binder and thereafter, the molding is held for the prescribed time at 180 to 220 deg.C under the reduced pressure of an inert gas atmosphere while insert gas is passed. The molding is then held for the prescribed time at 300 to 350 deg.C under the reduced pressure of the inert gas atmosphere, by which the binder is removed and the fibrous structure is produced. |
