摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a prepreg that is halogen-free and phosphorus-free and shows excellent heat resistance, electric properties, and the like, by using a resin composition prepared by using a specific curing agent to an epoxy resin obtained from a specific phenol and including a combination of a metal hydrate with a molybdenum compound. SOLUTION: The objective prepreg is prepared by impregnating or coating a substrate with a resin composition that includes, as essential components, (A) a phenol compound having a structural unit of the formula (R1 is H, phenol; R2 is H, methyl; (n) is 0-10), (B) an epoxy resin prepared by epoxidizing the component A, (C) a metal hydrate (preferably aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide) and (D) a molybdenum compound (preferably zinc molybdate). In a preferred embodiment, the amount of the component C is 50-150 pts.wt. and the component D is 0.1-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components A and B. This prepreg is hardened to give laminated plates for electric insulation material.</p>
