PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent broken pieces from being entangled in a container in a tightening tool provided with the container to recover the broken pieces of blind rivets and lock bolts. SOLUTION: A tightening tool has a broken piece recovering device 30 to recover a broken piece 37 of a mandrel broken by the tension from a nose through a passage 9 in the tightening tool.
