PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic treatment method of a liquid and gas achieving the firm reliability of electromagnetic treatment. SOLUTION: The relation between the flow direction of a fluid such as a liquid or gas to be electromagnetically treated and the polarity of an electromagnetic field applied to the fluid is determined to maximize the effect of electromagnetic treatment and magnetic parity effect. Concretely, in electromagnetic treatment by use of a magnet 33, the magnet is attached in a direction making the parity effect most marked to markedly enhance mileage, exhaust gas and power of a car.
