PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict nonconformity such as a short circuit by attachment of condensate to an electric connection part of an electric heat generation body in an air conditioner for a vehicle provided with a beat exchanger for heating integrated with the electric heat generation body. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 33 for heating is disposed in an air conditioner case 31 in such a way that tanks 331, 332 are positioned above and under a heat exchanging core part 333, and electric connection parts 58-60 of a heat generation body are disposed at air flow downstream side parts of the lower tank 331. Application of water to the electric connection parts 58-60 of the electric heat generation body can thus be restricted by utilizing the lower tank 331 itself, so an electric short circuit accident, etc., at the electric connection parts 58-60 caused by attachment of condensate from a heat exchanger 32 for cooling, or invasion of water, snow, etc., from the external can be prevented.
