PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify manufacture an air cell to be used for a massage machine or the like. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing an air cell made extensible and contractible by having a bellows structure in the outer peripheral part, a molded body 30 of the cell molded in a shape of bellows being extended is kept at a prescribed raised temperature and the bellows is contracted in this condition. While the shape of the bellows being contracted is maintained, the molded body is then held in a water tank 31 and subjected to a cooling process wherein it is cooled by the water in the water tank 31 to be brought to a state wherein the contracted state of the bellows is normal. In parallel with the cooling process or subsequently thereto, air is supplied to the air cell in the water tank, so as to execute a leak test of the air cell. |
