PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for compacting porous concrete which is may be efficiently and rapidly placed while maintaining characteristics, such as a void volume and strength. SOLUTION: The porous concrete which contains water, cement, coarse aggregate and cement dispersant, has a water/cement ratio of 18 to 32%, a unit water volume of 60 to 120 kg/m3 and a unit volume of the coarse aggregate of 450 to 600 L/m3 and contains the cement dispersion at a ratio of 0.05 to 1.5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. cement is compacted within the time of 1 to 5 seconds per one point under conditions under which the rolling pressure P defined by the following equation attains 1,000 to 5,000 kg/m2. In the equation, P denotes the rolling pressure P (kg/m2); F denotes exciting force (kg); G denotes the pressing force (kg) of the rolling surface; M denotes the area (m2) of the rolling surface and E denotes working efficiency. |
