PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform safe slinging operation with good working effectiveness using a hook to serve for unloading operation underwater. SOLUTION: This slinging hook 1 is fitted with a float 8 to generate buoyancy overcoming the deadweight of the hook 1 underwater. According to this arrangement, when the load 7 is sunk underwater and grounded, the hook 1 rises in rotation with the buoyancy generated by the float 8, and a slinging wire 6 slips off from the hook 1 naturally. When slinging, it is only required to hitch the wire 6 at the hook 1 hung down on a load hanging wire 4, in the same manner as in the ordinary slinging operation.
