PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which can stably form high- resolution images, can be made inexpensive in terms of a material, a durability and the like, and moveover can be made compact. SOLUTION: The apparatus has an electrostatic latent image formation body 11, a latent image-forming means 13 for forming electrostatic latent images to the latent image formation body, a belt-shaped development image carrier body 2 having a dielectric characteristic which comes in touch with the electrostatic latent image formation body 11 so that electrostatic latent images are electrostatically transferred thereto, a developing means 30 for supplying a liquid developer including toner particles and a carrier liquid to a face of the belt-shaped development image carrier body 2 opposite to a face in touch with the electrostatic latent image formation body, a solvent-removing means 40 for removing the carrier liquid in the sensible image, thereby forming a toner development image, and a transferring fixing part 50 for transferring and fixing the toner development image on the belt-shaped development image carrier body to a recording medium. |
