PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated fin material capable of continuously preventing the ant nest-shaped corrosion of a steel pipe without generating odor and without deteriorating the hydrophilic property of the fin. SOLUTION: The subject material has a base material consisting of aluminum or aluminum alloy, the chromate film or the resin corrosion-resisting film formed on this base material and the polyvinyl alcohol resin film formed on this corrosion-resisting film. The polyvinyl alcohol resin film has metal salt and >=90% saponification value.
